EKtoby

I have over 12 years’ experience of writing, performing, facilitating and creating ‘interactive behavioural’ training packages using forum theatre and roleplay within the public, private and voluntary sectors, as well as the armed forces.

I am also a qualified coach with a certification in the Spiral Dynamics tool – a brilliant and surprisingly accurate way of discovering what people’s drives, values and priorities are and how they dictate the way they work and relate to those around them.

I am also the co-author of 101 Days to Make a Change; a practical ‘dip-in or deep-dive’ life support manual.

A few testimonials:

Emma’s coaching has completely changed my practice as a Vice Principal and has made me much braver in tackling issues which I found challenging. Her regular feedback is well structured and has had lasting impact. She gets to the genuine issues quickly because of her style; the process is both enabling and ensures the coachee grows and develops – the speed of the growth from her regular coaching is amazing! She has lots of techniques to share which makes team-work so much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend coaching with Emma if you want to accelerate the progress of the people working in your team!
Claire Stewart – Vice Principal: Learning Communities, City Academy Bristol

Emma’s coaching was immensely helpful. She systematically helps you identify areas of your practice to develop and then gently, caringly holds you to account in their development. A much-valued source of support.
Matt Hall – Vice Principal: Sixth Form and Standards, City Academy Bristol

I found the coaching experience really useful and rewarding. Emma’s calm and open manner allows you to frankly discuss and explore tricky work situations – her ability to recognise certain character traits in people I work with who she has never met was particularly impressive, allowing me to better understand their motivations and communicate more effectively.
